Champagne Cruises Vilamoura: how a private charter works
Every charter begins at Gate A3 in Vilamoura Marina, in front of Il Lamparo restaurant. Your crew meets you on the pontoon, helps you on board and gives a short safety briefing. Shoes come off, music goes on, and the yacht slips out past the harbour wall.
From there the day is yours. Most guests head west towards the Falésia cliffs, ten to fifteen minutes away, then on to Olhos de Água or the coves near Albufeira. Your captain picks a sheltered spot to anchor, the paddleboards go in, and you swim in clear Atlantic water before drinks and snacks on deck.
Charters run in the morning from 09:30 or 10:00, in the afternoon from 13:30 or 14:00, and at sunset from 18:30 or 19:00 in summer. Full days leave at 10:00. You can stay out for two to ten hours, depending on the yacht and the trip.
Because the yacht is private, nothing is rushed. If the swimming is good, you stay. If someone fancies a closer look at the cliffs, the captain will take you there, sea conditions permitting.

Where to go on a Marina de Vilamoura yacht charter
Vilamoura sits in the middle of the Algarve coast, which gives a Marina de Vilamoura yacht charter an easy choice of directions. Timings below are approximate and depend on sea conditions.
- Falésia cliffs, 10 to 15 minutes: red and gold cliffs above a long beach, lovely in late afternoon light.
- Olhos de Água, 15 to 20 minutes: rock formations and calm water for a first swim.
- Albufeira coves such as São Rafael and Coelha, 25 to 35 minutes: sandy coves and sea stacks.
- Benagil, Praia da Marinha and Carvoeiro, 45 to 60 minutes: the famous arches and sea caves. We recommend four hours or more.
- Ria Formosa islands near Faro, Culatra and Farol, 45 to 60 minutes east: best as a full day.

Yacht rental in Vilamoura: prices and online booking
Our prices are fixed, published and include VAT. They are per yacht, so a group of ten on Atlantis or São Lourenço pays the same as a group of four.
- Sunset, 2 hours: from €700 (Atlantis and São Lourenço) to €1,000 (NOON)
- Morning or afternoon, 3 hours: from €900 (Atlantis) to €1,300 (NOON)
- Morning or afternoon, 4 hours: from €1,200 (Atlantis) to €1,650 (NOON)
- Full day, 7 hours: from €1,900 (Atlantis) to €2,450 (NOON)
Extended days of ten hours are also available on every yacht. Each yacht page has a live booking calendar: choose your date and trip, then pay a 50% deposit or the full amount by card. Booking online saves 10%.
